The idea behind this shot was to show the relationship between the main focus being the ciggarette and the rough lit path on which it sits.
I wanted to show how you could almost draw parallels with contemporary thoughts on anti-smoking campaigns but this was definitely not my initial intention.
This is an excerpt from a series of styalised photographs showing a "waste not - want not" type of thought process that we are currently adopting as a modern society.
What makes this unique is this scene was not artificial, it was documented as I found it. almost... lol
